Jim Reeder was honoured with the inaugural Janet Taylor Award in 2013 for his incredible dedication to the FSJ Hospital Foundation’s Bluey Day fundraiser. For ten years, Jim participated as a “shavee,” raising over $50,000 by 2013 to support cancer care. His annual head shave became a beloved tradition, affectionately known as “Jim’s annual haircut,” with supporters ready each year to donate. Jim’s commitment and generosity reflect the spirit of Janet Taylor—selfless, passionate, and community-driven. His name was the first added to the Foundation’s award plaque, marking the beginning of a legacy of giving that continues to inspire.
