The Memorial Wall has long stood as a cherished tradition at the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation, a quiet, powerful reflection of love, remembrance, and generosity. It honours the lives of many of our community’s founders whose legacies continue to shape our community today.
Each name etched into the wall represents a story of compassion. Through In Memory campaigns and legacy gifts, friends and families have chosen to celebrate their loved ones in a way that touches lives every day. These heartfelt contributions help fund vital equipment, ensuring access to care closer to home. Each year, we are honoured to add new names to this special wall. It is a moment of reflection, gratitude, and community pride, a reminder that love lives on in the care we give and receive.
These special gifts, made in a loved one’s memory, have a lasting impact in the community as they touch the lives of patients daily. In Memory campaigns can be established anytime with a minimum donation of $25 with many donors continuing to donate to their loved ones In Memory campaign through the annual Be an Angel campaign. When contributions to a loved one reaches $1000, their individual name will be recognized on the Foundation’s Memorial Wall located between the main Hospital lobby and the Peace Villa Resident Care Facility.
