One of the highlights of the evening will be the presentation of the prestigious Janet Taylor Award, honoring an individual, group, or corporation that exemplifies remarkable commitment to volunteerism or philanthropy by generously contributing time, talent, or financial support to the FSJ Hospital Foundation and its mission.
A notable feature of the evening is the “I Remember Quilt”, lovingly handcrafted by volunteers in 2007. This unique quilt offers a meaningful chance to cherish the memories of our departed loved ones who have departed but remain forever in our hearts. Each year, during the Be an Angel Gala, the quilt is put up for auction. The winning bidder has the privilege of having their beloved’s name sewn into the quilt, a lasting tribute to their memory. Over the years, the quilt has raised over $70,000.
With a target of raising $100,000, the Be an Angel Gala aims to direct funds to the Greatest Needs Fund, further elevating patient care in the North Peace Region.
