"Be Brave & Shave"
The FSJ Hospital Foundation invites individuals, families, friends, and businesses to register individually or as a team for the annual Bluey Day “Be Brave and Shave” fundraising event.
Funds raised for the Community Cancer Centre help purchase emergent equipment needs for the Diagnostic Imaging Department, Laboratory, Surgical Department, and Endoscopy Suite for early screening and diagnosis of cancer and for the Community Cancer Centre, so that wherever possible cancer patients can remain here at home with diagnosis and treatment options to stay close to family and friends.FIND OUT MORE

Light a Moose
The 100.1 Moose FM crew and the FSJ Hospital Foundation team broadcast live from the Murray GM Parking Lot every November with our three-day radiothon. Tune in as we call on the community to support the purchase of a vital piece of equipment for the Fort St. John Hospital or Peace Villa Care Facility. Every time the community raises $1,000, a light will be added to the Light a Moose billboard. Light a Moose has now raised over $1 million in funds for local healthcare, since 2004.
The community raised over $150,000 at the 2022 event with help from $20,000 Corporate Matching Donors NorthRiver Midstream and Mustang Rentals. The proceeds from the event exceeded our goal of $100,000 and went towards the purchase of a Spectra Stainer and Cover Slipper; this vital piece of laboratory equipment will allow for more timely and accurate diagnostic results at the Fort St. John Hospital.

FSJHF Payroll 50/50
