The Cancer Diagnostic & Treatment Fund is a vital source of support for cancer care in our region, helping to outfit both the Community Cancer Centre and the Diagnostic Imaging Department at the Fort St. John Hospital.
Thanks to generous donations directed to this fund, we’ve been able to enhance patient care and comfort through the purchase of advanced diagnostic equipment and improvements in treatment delivery. These investments ensure that patients receive timely, accurate diagnoses and compassionate care—right here at home.
The Community Cancer Centre at Fort St. John Hospital is one of only two clinics in the Northeast Region providing systemic therapy. Currently managing over 120 active cases, the Centre plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive cancer treatment. With support from this fund, the Centre is also working to expand its hours to improve access for patients and families across the region.
