Home Hardware Building Centre FSJ, led by Doug and Shelley Gallinger, received the 2023 Janet Taylor Award for their long-standing support of the FSJ Hospital Foundation. Since 2000, they’ve contributed nearly $75,000 through donations, barbecues, till drives, and hosting the Have a Heart Radiothon. Shelley expressed heartfelt surprise and joy at the honour, calling it one of their favourite groups to support. She praised the Foundation’s impact on patient comfort and staff care, and thanked her team for always welcoming and participating. Doug & Shelley’s warmth and dedication truly reflect the spirit of Janet Taylor and community care.
