Danielle Quiring has been a Registered Nurse since 2005, dedicating her career to maternity care at Fort St. John Hospital. After completing her Perinatal Specialty certification in 2010, she continued to pursue ongoing education to stay current with best practices in nursing.
In recent years, Danielle has taken on a new role—educator. As a sessional instructor with the Northern Baccalaureate Nursing Program, she discovered a passion for teaching and mentoring new nurses. That experience inspired her to pursue a Master of Nursing with an educator focus through the University of Victoria.
“The program is preparing me with the tools I need to transition into a full-time instructor role,” she said. “It’s a way to support and recruit nurses to work in the North, and to give back to the profession that’s given me so much.”
Danielle is grateful for the support of the FSJ Hospital Foundation Education Grant. “Thank you to the donors who make this possible,” she shared. “Your generosity helps local healthcare professionals like me grow and continue to strengthen care in our community.”
