Telus Fibre for Good Campaign does Good for the Foundation!

Telus Fibre for Good campaign raised $4,200 for the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation!

Over the last two years Telus has been building a Fibre network in Fort St. John and through the Fibre for Good campaign which wrapped up in November 2016, they enabled their valued customers to combine their love for new technology with their passion for building strong and viable communities; in this case supporting the work of the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation.

The philosophy at Telus is that they Give where they live, and since 2000 Telus, their team members and retirees have contributed more than $135 million to charitable and community organizations and volunteered more than 4.2 million hours in support of local communities throughout British Columbia.  Of that, since 2000 Telus has donated over $56,000 towards the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation.

The funds from this donation will be put towards the Foundation’s upcoming Have a Heart fundraiser which is raising money to purchase a Vein Viewer for the Fort St. John Hospital.
