“Be an Angel” Campaign
The be an angel campaign is the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation’s biggest annual fundraiser.
Throughout the month of November, donations are collected to support the purchase of much-needed medical equipment and enhance patient comfort and care at the Fort St. John Hospital and Peace Villa Residential Care Facility. Many supporters choose to donate in memory or in honour of a loved one, and hang an ornament on the Angel Tree at the Hospital in their name. Donations can be made by mail (please join our mailing list here) or your local financial institutions. Look for our “be an angel” donation box at your financial institution during the month of November. Donors receive a collectible angel pin!

On May 25, 2019, participants gathered at the BC Ambulance Building to “Be Brave & Shave”. Funds raised were allocated to the foundation’s Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment Fund. Donations to this fund are used to purchase equipment that aids in the comfort, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with cancer at our hospital. It also ensures the Foundation can meet both the long-term and emergent needs of our hospital as our medical staff works on early diagnosis and treatment of patients with cancer.Read more
